Are the units watertight and do they condensate?

Our containers are manufactured to top industry specifications for a long and testing life in service, shipping cargo around the world.  They are made to resist water ingress with durable seals on the double doors.  Fitted vents so that no condensation occurs.

There is a general misconception that condensation is an issue. The basic rule being if you don't load damp materials there is not a problem. We guarantee all our equipment as being watertight and additionally we equip our storage containers with ventilators that allow the container to breathe, ensuring condensation can be easily avoided. Using this design many of our customers use our containers for storing furniture, paper archives and electrical goods.

For your peace of mind some of our external containers are treated with a polyurethane foam insulation so further eliminating perceived condensation problems.

We can provide references from existing customers on the quality and suitability of our containers for your requirements. 

 

Standard Terms

1. Minimum rental period of one month.
2. After the minimum period we require 14 days written notice of termination.
3. Accounts are to be paid monthly in advance.
4. Accounts must be paid by debit, credit card or standing order. We can not accept cash or cheques.
5. You must not store food, perishables, animals’ birds or fish, combustible or flammable materials or liquids including gas, petrol, oils, and solvents or paints chemicals waste or any illegal items or goods. (A full list is contained in the terms and conditions)
6. Closed On Sundays & Bank Holidays.
7. Emergency entry can be arranged subject to a £25 call out charge subject to staff availability. ID will be required.

Please Note

We do not insure the goods whilst they are on site. You must take out adequate insurance in respect of the goods under a policy which covers at least normal perils. Your existing household insurance might cover your goods whilst in storage but you must check with your own provider if this is covered on your policy.

Failure to pay the monthly charges will result in customers being denied access to their unit and may result in the goods being sold at public auction to recover any outstanding fees or losses.
